Santa...

We finally made it to see Santa this morning. Jack has been talking about him non stop. Last year's photo was also rather interesting. I'll post it first and then see if you can see an improvement for this year. I thought the Grinch shirt was a nice touch (thanks Grammy!).

Last year....
Now this year...

Maybe nest year will be a little less tearful. It could be more intesting though, considering we will have 2 in the picture.

We hope everyone has a great Christmas. We'll be here at home for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We will head to Knoxville for a visit the day after. We look forward to Jack's Christmas morning tomorrow. More pictures to come!

Days with Daddy

Since Jack's been home with Tommy, here are a few pictures of their days....

Friday's always start with a Dunkin Donut run. Look at all the donuts!

Yum!

Trying to be like Daddy!

The boys definitely have a blast together. It's so sweet to see how much Jack just adores his Daddy!

20 week ultrasound

Here are pictures from our ultrasound this past Monday. The baby looks great and no abnormalities were detected. The baby weighs about 12 ounces (a full coke can) and is about the length of a banana. Amazing to think about that small! Anyways, the view they saw of the heart was normal, but we will also have a fetal echo done with Children's Hospital in mid-December. Jack was with us for the ultrasound. He seemed to enjoy it but kept asking for "Elmo" on the tv screen. Maybe we should consider that for possible baby names. Speaking of that...we haven't even started that discussion! The due date is still March 29, so we have a while to figure it out!

Halloween- A little late!

Here are pictures from Halloween. We are a little late in getting them posted. Jack was very excited and focused on getting started getting candy, so I couldn't really get a good picture. Once he got the hang of trick or treating, he really liked it. He started getting bold and just going towards candy baskets and taking what he wanted. If people dropped a piece, it was fair game in his mind. I guess he's still young enough to get away with it!

A focused little samarai

On another note, we go for the our 20 week ultrasound tomorrow. We are still planning on not finding out the gender. We ask Jack what he thinks and depending on the day and how he feels, he will say boy or girl. When asked what he wants to name the baby, he responded "Maggie." One might think he knows it is a girl, but it also just so happens that our neighbor's dog is named Maggie. Who knows!

New favorite picture

18 weeks
I don't know what it is about this picture, but I'm really liking it. (Too bad for the shadow at the bottom!) Jack now realizes (or at least we think) that there is a baby in Mommy's belly. Here he is affectionately getting ready to pat his brother/sister. Or maybe he's just preparing them for the real world once they arrive!

Boo at the Zoo and Knoxville trip

If I would post more often, then these posts wouldn't be so long! Anyways, last weekend we were in Knoxville visiting with Grammy and Grandpa. We also got to see Uncle Mark and Gigi (great-grandma). We had a great visit. My Dad and Tommy took Jack for his first fishing trip. I tagged along for photographs and Jack ended up hanging out with me more than fishing. I think 2 might be a bit young for fishing. He did have fun with the worms though!

Worms!

Gigi tried to teach Jack to say "Go Vols!"

Once back home, we settled back in for the week. Tommy is home with Jack these days and are having lots of fun. Here was snack one day this week. Want some peanut butter from our house?

Yum! Pretzel rods and peanut butter!

This weekend we were home and decided to head to the zoo for Boo at the Zoo. We dressed Jack up in his Ninja outfit from Aunt Elaine and Uncle Pat from Japan and the headband Grammy and Grandpa brought back from their visit. Jack had a good time!

The pumpkin didn't get far away from Jack. He cried when he couldn't sleep with it!
