Halloween Highlights

What a fun Halloween.  The kids really enjoyed it this year.  We started off the evening with dinner with close friends who just happen to live across the street!  Then we headed out to start trick or treating. Both kids were a bit reluctant at first, but Caroline seemed to pick up on it faster.  She would take the candy she was handed and then help herself to more in the bowl.  It is ridiculous how much candy they accumulated in such a short amount of time!  Anyways, here are some photos!
Ready, set go!

Smiling with Mommy

We love the McFarlands!

so cute together

"so heavy mommy!"

She asked to have her picture taken with this.  She kept telling me "not scary, happy!"

worn out!  People would tell her how pretty she was and she would respond "I getting tired"

Pumpkin Patch

We recently visited the pumpkin patch.  How fun.  Caroline is much more into things this year and has about a million things to tell you about it.  The kids are at such fun ages.  Sometimes I would like to keep them these ages forever.  And then, they start fighting and screaming and tattling on each other....

Anyways, here are some highlights of the visit.

Caroline is so brave.  She jumped right in for feeding the sheep.

Caroline wanted her picture with "llama llama"

Jack wouldn't touch the donkey, but Caroline would have probably gotten in there with it if she could.

Ready for the hayride.

In search of the perfect pumpkin.

Love this picture.  Tommy trying to scare the kids...haha

Caroline found hers.

Jack wanted a green one.

Here's what I get when I ask Tommy to take some pictures.

Caroline sulking.  So sassy!

It's that time again...

I know, I know.  Everyone dreads fundraiser time.  The kids' school is doing the cookie dough/popcorn fundraiser again.  No pressure, but here are the salespeople...

And the out takes...

Take 1:  Can you tell I was having to prompt Caroline a bit?

Take 2:

So if you do want to order something, here is the ad online and you can see the choices.  Each one is $10.  We just have to have all money/orders in by Nov. 9.

September in Photos

Again, here's a photo update.  The pictures are probably what you want anyways!
Tommy decided this tree needs to come down.

His helpers though they could pull it down.

Such determination!

Team work!

Enjoying borrowing Popa's truck for a few days.

Daddy put them to work while I had parent/teacher conferences.  This was before they helped in the rain!

Happy Birthday Jack!  Big 5!

Birthday dinner at Chuck E Cheese

Thanks Daddy!

Monster truck birthday

Wow, so big!

August in Photos

Well, it's been a while since I posted new pictures.  I was waiting until I finally found the cord for our smaller camera.  It's easier to throw that little camera in my bag sometimes.  Unfortunately, it is not as friendly for loading pictures.  Anyways, here are some fun times from back in August.
At the Boone County fair.  Our friend KY Myle were playing and let Jack crash the stage!

Riding rides at the fair.

Caroline jumped on with no concerns

Waiting on the carousel

With Pam Kelly from KY Myle.

They found a massive grasshopper.

Jack got brave and held it.

Oh such a telling picture...look how mischievous he looks!

Big bubbles!

Trying to eat them.  And yes, she did wear this out that day.  What's wrong with John Deere and a tutu?

Trying to convince this child to wear pigtails.  Look, Dora has them too!  Didn't last!

Grandpa rode his motorcycle up to visit.  Fun times at Jane's Saddlebag.

We got lucky that they were having a car show.

This girl is full of life!

Jane's saddlebag is such a fun place to go!
